レゴ マインクラフト（英：Lego Minecraft）は、サンドボックスビデオゲームMinecraftに基づいたLegoテーマ。2012年に初めて発売された[3]。
歴史[編集]
初期の「マイクロ ワールド」セットは、再配置可能な4 つの連結のグループを特徴としており、2つには、鉱石、地下河川、トロッコのトラックを含む洞窟を備えた取り外し可能な面があり、キャラクター (レゴではマイクロモブ) も含まれている[4]。
現在のセットは、他のセットとの相互接続を可能にするために、レンガで持ち上げられたベースプレート上にあることが多い (Minecraft のブロック状の美学に忠実であり続けるため）。 シンプルな部品を備えたレンガ造りの場所を特徴としてる。これらのセットはすべてミニフィグ スケールであり、キャラクターの頭、道具、特定の体の部分 (例には、主に胴体と脚の 1 つの成形品で構成されるクリーパー) のカスタム金型が付属している。
発達[編集]
マイクロワールド[編集]
レゴ マインクラフトの始まりについて尋ねられたとき、Mojangの最高経営責任者であるCarl Mannehは、「Mojangを始めたときに最初に話した内容の1つだった」と述べた[5]。MojangはLego Cuusooプログラムでプロジェクトを開始したが、プロジェクトが承認されるには1万の署名が必要であった。Minecraftのコミュニティの強力な支援により、署名の目的は2日以内に達成され[6]、レゴがプロジェクトを批評した後、レゴ マインクラフトセットの開発が開始された。最初のマイクロワールドセットは2012年6月6日に発売された。売り上げの一部は、レゴが選んだ慈善団体に寄付された[7]。2013年7月17日、ゲームの「ネザー」と「村」に基づいて、2つの追加のマイクロワールド セットがMinecraftのテーマに追加されることが発表された[8]。それらはサンディエゴ・コミコンで最初に公開され、2013年9月1日に発売された[8]。「ジ・エンド」を探索する4番目で最後のマイクロワールドセットは、2014年夏に発売された[9]。
ミニフィギュア[編集]
その後、2014年にミニフィギュアサイズのレゴセットが発表された。クリーパー、トロッコ、ヒツジのプロトタイプはすべて、ファンコンベンションであるMineConの後に発表されたCo-Build Projectの一環として開発された。First Night、Mine、Ender Dragon、Crafting Box、Farm、Caveを含む 6 つのミニフィギュアスケールセットは、2014年11月から12月にかけて発売された[10]。現在、43体のミニフィグスケールが発売されており、より多くのものが発売されている。
ビッグフィグ[編集]
2019年に、レゴは、バイオニクル、ナイツ キングダム II などのレゴコンストラクションフィギュアに似た、Minecraftのモブをベースにしたレゴブロックで造られたフィギュアであるマインクラフトビッグフィグを導入した。これまでに、ビッグフィグ スティーブとオウム、ビッグフィグ アレックスとニワトリ、ビッグフィグ スケルトンとマグマキューブの3つのビッグフィグが発売されており、シリーズ2は2020年に発売される予定[11]。

マッシャブルは、2012年のクリスマス シーズンのクリエイティブギフトとして、最初のレゴマインクラフトセットを挙げた[32]。 フォーブスは、2012年12月に、人気のためにオリジナルセットが完売したことを指摘した[33]。
