The Japanese Building and Transport Workers Union Solidarity'(全日本建設運輸連帯労働組合 Zen-nihon kensetsuunyu rentai rōdō-kumiai) is a Japanese trade union group, which is usually referred to as Zennikken'(全日建) in Japanese. It is affiliated to Kōunrōkyō(Japanese Council of Transport Worker's Unions) and ITF(International Transport Workers' Federation).

History[編集]

Concrete department of Kansai branch(This is commonly called as Kannama) was founded in 1965. At first this union was a member of All Japan Transport and General Workers' Union(Current All Japan Construction, Transport and General Workers' Union) under the influence of The Japanese Communist Party. But Kannama conflicts the All Japan Transport and General Workers' Union and the Japanese Communist Party caused by ways of a struggle for higher wages and organizing workers.

After that it formed The Japanese Building and Transport Workers Union Solidarity' with Kannama' and the All Japanese Industry of Building Workers Union in 1984. It was a member of National trade union center until the General Council of Trade Unions of Japan dissolved.

Features[編集]

In Japan traditionally few conglomerates dominate the concrete industry. Their monopsony caused harsh competitive price between SME(small and medium-sized enterprises).In order to stabilize concrete prices, Kannama led SME make cooperatives which do joint order about that. Because of this things what union supports cooperatives , very rare movement is features in Japan.
