マントラ (Mantra)は、作品である。
作曲経緯[編集]
1975年時点ではコンタルスキー兄弟の演奏の版権がDGに置かれたまま[注釈 1]であったが、1990年代に買い戻し、現在のコンタルスキー兄弟のCDはシュトックハウゼン出版社から発売されている。
録音[編集]
初演からおおよそ20年強にわたってコンタルスキー兄弟の演奏でのみ知られていたが、Yvar Mikhashoff&Rosalind Bevanピアノデュオによって演奏されると途端に録音点数が増え始めた。これ以外にもシュトックハウゼン講習会で披露された演奏や、シュトックハウゼン没後に取り組んだピアノデュオを合わせると、彼の作品にしては上演回数が極めて多い。
