Eri Goto
(born 1985) is a Japanese pianist.
She studied at the Sapporo Conservatoire with Noriyuki Miyazawa, at the Prague Conservatory with Michal Rezek, and at that Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with Ivan Klánský.
She was severally awarded in national youth competitions in Japan, including first prize in the PTNA piano competition(D category), All Japanese student competition and the A.O.C.C. piano competition.
She is laureate of the international competitions, first prize winner of the Smetana International Piano Competition and the International Chopin Piano Competition in Marienbad in 2008.
She has participated in the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2010 the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Brussels, 2013.
She has also appeared as a soloist in a concert with the Prague Philharmonia, the Czech chamber orchestra, the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra and West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra in Marienbad.
She has performed in Japan and Europe – including Dvorak Rudolfinum in Czech Republic as well as in Russia, Germany, France and Italy.
