Eiji Inoue( Born in Nara,Japan in 1965, 54 years old) is a Japanese actor who has been living in Los Angeles and working in Hollywood since 1992. He worked as a high school teacher for the Gifu Prefecture for 4 years and taught bookkeeping, accounting,management and Basic computer programing.

 The last school he taught at was Gifu Ogaki Commercial High and resigned from there at the age of 26.

Then he moved to the city of Nagoya and belonged to the local talent agency there. After one year, he decided to pursue his acting career in Hollywood. He was 27 years old. After arriving in Los Angeles, he did a lot of background work for the Film,TV,and Live talk shows etc. and performed in his own talent show at a local Japanese restaurant, Cabaret,Coffee shops, Laugh Factory,Comedy Store and Events in 1992. He booked a Coca-Cola commercial at the end of 1992, and that got him a SAG Card and he became a member of SAG-AFTRA the nation's most powerful union for actors. After he booked the stunt gig for the "Mighty Morphin Power Ranger " Live show in MIP TV '93 in Cannes, he worked as a stuntman/stunt adviser for that show airing in the U.S. Starting from 1994 for 2 years, he seriously invested his time studying his craft of acting.After that period, he booked 16 national commercials,3 global and 5 for Japan, countless film school projects ,more than 60 play productions around Los Angeles. His first TV debut was "Brooklyn South "for FOX in 1998 and was followed by "Angel","Gilmore Girls",and "NCIS".

His first film debut was "Pearl Harbor" directed by Michael Bay in 2001 and was followed by "Austin Powers in Goldmember","The Last Samurai",and "Click".

When his agent retired in 2005, he couldn't go to any auditions for those high budget productions and his struggle had begun working for dozens of low or no budget independent films and plays. He got a call for an audition for the revival of the 1980's hit SHOGUN from the casting director Yoko Narahashi who discovered his exceptional talent and sent him to another audition for AMC's "The Terror Infamy ". He landed in the series in a recurring guest star role as "Hideo Furuya" , an alchoholic, wife beater haunted by a ghost. It premiered in August 2019 in the U.S. and all over the world.
